About this campaign
Two weeks ago we adopted Miso. He was a Valentine’s Day gift for our family. My son and husband have been wanting a cat for a long time and it was so fun to surprise them with Miso. We are so in love with our kitten. He has been the perfect cat for our family.
He fits in with our little pack. He has brought us so much joy since knowing him.
Miso is a spirited and curious kitten. He loves to play with our 3 year old son and our 11 year old black lab. Miso is so bright - he has been great at using the potty in the litter box and “talks” to us and let’s us know he is hungry by meowing at the pantry where we store his food. He loves to play chase with our son.
Miso is a talker! He has been very vocal about what he wants and needs. He is our entertainment- we love watching him explore new things with intense curiosity. He loves his cat tunnel and rolls around all through the house in it. For a little kitty he has already acquired quite the toy collection and we love to see him explore and play.
Friday afternoon when we got home from work we noticed that Miso had vomited. He seemed tired and was not hungry for dinner which is not like him. All he wanted to do was cuddle. Saturday morning I took him to VCA Becker Animal Hospital where he later tested positive for Feline Panleukopenia. He has been at the hospital receiving around the clock care to beat this!
We do not want to euthanize him just for financial reasons. We want him to live! The costs are adding up so fast and we did not anticipate the astronomical bills. We need support to keep fighting for Miso.
