Miso is a 1 year old Siamese in Waterville, ME, who needs $1,500 for Aural Hematoma Surgery/ Inner Ear Infection.

Miso came into our lives recently and quickly became part of our family. After accidentally getting outside, he went missing for 6 days before the community helped reunite us with him safely. He has now been back home for 3 weeks. He lives with our family and young daughter, who adores him. Miso is affectionate, vocal, curious, and loves curling up beside us.

After returning home, we had Miso neutered to help reduce stress behaviors and keep him healthy long term. Following surgery, he developed a severe aural hematoma involving his entire ear flap along with irritation affecting the eye on the same side and severe ear infection. We are trying to prevent further injury while seeking affordable veterinary treatment and follow-up care for him.

Miso is incredibly affectionate and has become deeply bonded with our family in a short amount of time. He follows us from room to room, constantly purrs, and loves curling up beside us on the couch. He has a special bond with our young daughter, who carries him everywhere and adores him. Even after everything he has been through recently, he still seeks comfort and love from us every day.

After finally getting Miso home safely following 6 terrifying days missing outside, we are now facing overwhelming veterinary costs after serious complications developed following his neuter surgery. We are doing everything we can to get him the care he urgently needs.
