Missy Clara is a 1 year old Scottish Fold in Buffalo, NY, who needs $2,000 for Enucleation and Orbital Prosthesis x2.

Missy was adopted in May 2025, and has brought so much joy into our little pet family. For years I've researched cat breeds when a previous Scottish fold breeder told me to look into that specific breed. Upon months of research, and the fact that my Scottish grandmother passed several months ago, I knew it was fate to adopt. Along came Missy and she completed our pack with tons of love.

Missy was diagnosed with rapid melting corneal ulcers- that develop from a bacterial enzyme that most animals are able to recover from when they get a cold. Unfortunately she isn't so lucky, she is now in need of both her eyes removed and is set for emergency surgery tomorrow at Animal Eye Care of Western New York.

Missy is such a character, independent, playful and kind. Shes been a harder kernel to crack, but is now the fluffiest lover. She has been patient and gentle since we've got her. She loves her toys, her oldest brother, and of course her dad and especially, mom. The others are just there. Lol. She has the most gentle meow and her little tongue sits slightly out her mouth for maximum adorableness.

We have always had an emergency fund for our animals. Unfortunately due to an emergency room visit and appts with a niche specialist-that ran most of our pet emergency budget out. We are now faced to aquire a larger debt than we've ever anticipated and could use help.
