Missy, my treasured 4-year-old guinea pig (first one!), prefers solo adventures despite having sisters. Her fiery personality (hence the name!) is balanced with love. Her escape-artist ways often lead her to my pillow kingdom! Unique pink eyes stand out, and her fur is a beautiful tapestry of white & two browns!

Missy has been exhibiting some worrisome symptoms recently. She’s become more aggressive, her belly is swollen, and lately, she’s also started passing bloody stool and struggling with pain and discomfort when she urinates. I brought her to the vet, but I could only manage to pay for pain relief. She urgently needs a series of diagnostic tests because according to the vet, her condition is critical

My little cuddle bug, unlike her sister, she absolutely loves to cuddle and is the sweetest of them all. She adores face kisses and even lets me pet her under the chin, which most guineas wouldn't tolerate. Treats are her favorite, and her bravery means picking her up without running away. I often joke that if my life depended on one of my piggies, I know Missy would be the one to save me.

This year has been really challenging for me. I've been dealing with unemployment, the passing of our beloved dog and a dear family member, and now I'm worried about my guinea pig's health. Despite all these uncertainties, I need to stay positive and not loose hope.
