About this campaign

I inherited my Missy after my mom passed away in October 2020. She meant absolutely everything to my mom and I promised myself and Missy that I will maintain her health and well-being as well as my mom did. Missy lives with me, my other pup Noah, my daughter and myself. We love our dogs so much and hope to find a way to help repair Missy’s hurt leg.

Missy makes loving fun. She loves to burrow in her dog bed underneath her favorite blanket. I’m the morning’s we take our walk where she like the bark at the ducks near the pond. At home we love to play fetch. But Missy and my daughter have their most fun when they both are in bed and play a paw/hand tag game. She has such a fun personality and is never not wagging her tail.

One thing Missy does daily is chase her tail. She is always sharp as nails when it comes to everything she does on a daily basis but for some reason cannot understand her tail and why she can’t grab it. Since she fractured her arm, she has still tried to make the most out of life. But truthfully, I really hope she gets to chase her tail again soon.

Missy had an emergency accident requiring emergency assistance which we didn’t receive until a few days after the incident. She broke her arm. I took her to the veterinary hospital to get information resulting that Missy has a fractured Ulna and Radius. The doctor sent me a surgical estimate from a local animal surgeon in the amount raging from $5500-$7500. This is why I am requesting help.

My income has lowered significantly and I have no emergency funds to help with this. All I want is to get Missy the help she needs. So she can chew her favorite bone and chase her tail again. It means everything to get her this procedure.
