MitiMoo is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Redding , CA, who needs $1,000 for Amputation of Infected Back Toe.

This is MitiMoo. He's a feral my special needs son and I adopted 18mos ago. He comes into my home 2x per day to be fed as he sings to us. We're very fond of him. We finally managed to trap him to have him neutered and treated for an old abcess. It's was a minor miracle.

While he was being treated at our local rescue, Haven Humane, it was discovered that he had a massive infection in a back toe that is threatening his life. After giving him an injection of long acting antibiotics they gave me the news. We barely survive on SSDI as I'm wheelchair bound I can't pay for this surgery & I can't kill him over my poverty! He deserves better and he HAS a great home!

Moo has been a blessing for my cognitively challenged adult son who provides his primary care. He loves this cat. That makes him very special to our family. We have 3 other cats rescued from the Camp Fire where we lost everyone and everything. They are our only family. My son lacks the capacity to understand this situation. How do I explain this??

I was told that the surgery was urgently needed and would cost $90 + antibiotics but they couldn't do it on that day. When I called to schedule it I was told I had been given bad info. They only do spay/neuter there. If I couldn't pay for it elsewhere I'd have to kill him!?
