Mittens is a 1.5-year-old Russian Blue Cat in Boca Raton, FL, who needs $2,000 for Diaphragmatic Hernia Surgery.

Our adorable little Mittens is a year and half old. She was the runt of the litter at PetSmart and she just really took to my daughter Lulu. She immediately gravitated towards her and chose my daughter as her favorite human! We named her Mittens because her paws are all white. We also nicknamed her Mighty Mitts because she is so spunky and she has no fear. She will get in to the ring with any cat!

Mittens loves to cuddle up in bed with her favorite human, my daughter. Whenever she gets the opportunity she loves to burry her head in your hand to cover her eyes. She is so funny. She always sleeps covering her eyes. We have one cat that won’t give any cat the time of day but mittens has made it her personal mission to be his friend. It is just adorable. They are inseparable.

Mittens favorite friend is Bean our big black cat. All of our neighbors know and love her because she goes by to say hello everyday and hangs out in their patio with her favorite cat friends gray and midnight. She visits them and cleans them. It is adorable!! Mittens makes us smile all of the time. She goes behind all 10 of our kitty’s and cleans up after them in the litter box and likes to clean

Mittens has suffered some sort of blunt force trauma. The veterinarian believes she may have been hit by a car. She suffered an injury called a diaphragmatic hernia to where her intestines and organs were pushed up into her chest making it for her to breathe, eat and go to the bathroom. She has been such a trooper. She is being treated by Total Pet Care. With Dr Alex and they have been wonderful

I am going through a very tough time as I recently lost my job and do not have the savings to fully fund her surgery. We don’t have enough. Mittens is such a blessing to our family and she brings such joy to all of us. It would devastate us not to have her with us anymore.
