Mittens was a rescue from a puppy mill in Virginia. We have had her since she was 2 months old. She is now 7 years of age. She lives in a family home setting with teenagers, my husband, 2 ferrets, a blue pitbull, and myself. She loves every living creature and people. She has a great personality, always giving love.

She loves her sleep and is up sun bathing by noon. She loves car rides and the beach. More than anything she loves me. She plays fetch with her stuff animals. Mittens loves her foggy sticks, she is not to be bothered while having one. She has a napoleon complex, thinks she is bigger than what she really is.

Hopefully, today we can take her home. We are not sure if they will let us just pay for her medication right now. They may need all the money upfront before they give us her medication. Any help for Mittens would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Right now she is at Pieper-Olson Vet, we already spent thousands on her treatment. They couldn't find out what was wrong with her. My fifth visit to the office they said she was being dramatic. But after our 6th visit, the MRI showed that she had swelling in her brain. Doctors are still trying to find out exactly why this happened.

She always wants to be by my side. Follows me everywhere I go and I don't own her. She owns me!!! When she sleeps she bundles up herself right next to me. Her eyes are breath taking. One blue eye and one hazel. We call her Mittens cause she has white paws. Her markings are absolutely gorgeous. She is a chocolate Merle.
