About this campaign

Hi my name is Heather and my son Patrick is autistic and his cat mittens is his therapy cat at
home. Sadly mittens, who is an indoor cat got out he stayed around the house but we
couldn't get him in until last night he came in himself and we noticed his jaw was crooked. So we took him to the vet and found out he is
in great physical health except for a fracture.

For use to get it fixed, which means a plate in his mouth will cost us $7,000. Some may think it's frivolous because it's a cat. But this cat is our baby and my sons way to cope with what life throws at him. Plus he is our family and baby too. Any amount will help and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from the all of us, especially Patrick and Riley.Mittens is a very friendly cat.

When one of our cats passed Mittens took the brother in as his on family and cuddled and protect him. Mittens is so loving and is such a great comfort for my autistic son. He loves to suckle his blanket when it’s bed time. He usually sleeps with Patrick or Riley. He definitely loves his dog brother and sister. He is always snuggling with him.

So Mittens has a broken jaw. We need to get it fix soon or he will go down fast. Bulger Veterinary Hospital. From the X-ray you can see he has a fractured jaw. He needs surgery to put a plate in is mouth. He is in very good health and is still as loving as ever just need the jaw fixed. On one side the jaw is totally detached.

Unfortunately the cost of this surgery is $7,000. There is no way I can afford this. I have a limited income and a child with autism. I don’t want to put my fur baby down. But I also don’t want him to suffer.
