About this campaign

Mittens was found as a three month old kitten that had been abandoned in a trailer park along with her mother and brother. My daughter and I began caring for her with the hopes that she could be placed for adoption to a loving home. Both her mother and brother were able to be placed with a local rescue organization and have since found forever homes. But mittens has had constant respiratory and digestive health challenges in her short life. Recently it was a discovered that she has a herniated diaphragm. She labors just to breathe, her spleen is enlarged, and her intestines are in her thoracic cavity. This sweet kitty needs surgery ASAP so that she can finally have the life that she struggles so hard to lead.
