About this campaign

Mitty showed up last August. He was still a baby and either had been lost or abandoned. From the first day he seemed to have decided this was his new home. No one claimed him so he became ours. Mitty showed up 2 weeks after my brother passed away..I took in his dog Trolley and sadly she passed away a few months later. Mitty has been there for me on my worst days. Losing him would be devastating.

Mitties has many dog like qualities..he loves going on walks with me. He follows me to the beach and home almost everyday (no leash required), loves his belly rubbed and is a people lover. He goes to bed by my feet every night kneading and rubbing his face against favorite blanket. He's always loved to play fight with me and has grown up to be a little bad ass thanks to all the practice.

Mitty is the friendliest cat you will ever meet. He loves the outdoors and even learned how to use the door. When I'm sick he will skip his outside time just to nap with me. When I'm doing my hair he comes in and meows at me so I can lift him up to the window so he can get some sun while I get ready. He has the cutest meow I've ever heard until he's mad and sounds like a sad killer whale 🤣

2 nights ago we came home and he was laying on the porch with blood on his face. I thought it was just a gash on his nose but his condition has seriously deteriorated. he's doing something like weird with his mouth constantly opening and closing(I think his jaw may be broken)and stopped eating and drinking. He's limping and can hardly move at this point. I think may have been hit by a car.

I am struggling financially ,Im behind on my rent and have been trying to dig myself out of a hole. My landlord is threatening to evict us. Watching him suffer is killing me.
