Mitzi is a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer in Billings, MT, who needs $800 for Dental.

We got Mitzi when she was 3 months old. We had Bailey who was also 3 months old, who is a Golden Retriever and decided to get her a friend so she wasn’t alone. I saw an add in the paper for a Mini Schnauzer and when I saw her I fell in love with her. They fir perfectly together. They are both female and have loved each other right from the start. They are both 9 years old.

Mitzi is so very loving with the exception to strangers. She is very protective of her home and family. She likes to play ball, especially when I start to vacuum. She loves to snuggle with me., and loves constant attention. She knows the time of day when her papa comes home from work and waits to greet him at the garage door.

When she is playing with Bailey (her sister) she runs around in circles and squats down and barks. She likes to talk to you in her special way every time we come home. When I had a stroke 8 years ago, her and her sister both, are what got me through the hard times. She’s very attentive to how I feel, good or bad. The love and bond between us is unexplainable.

Mitzi suddenly had horrible breath, which seemed to come out of nowhere. Took her into Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital and was told bad breath could be various things, but was told they believe it’s her teeth. She needs a teeth cleaning with possible extraction of teeth. She is only eating soft foods and doesn’t want to play. Her mouth seems very dry.

When the pandemic hit, it hit us hard. My husband is self employed and I’m disabled due to a stroke. His work is hit and miss. He is a mechanic and doesn’t know what work he will have from day to day and week to week. This has put us in great financial turmoil.
