About this campaign
I rescued Moana about 3 years ago. She was my foster fail. She was in need of a place to recover after her hernia surgery so I decided to foster her. After about a month when she had recovered we decided to adopt. She current lives at home with myself, siblings, parents and daughter.
Moana is a great family member. She loves cuddles and will sit up under you all day to be rubbed. She loves my dad the most. When we leave the home she’ll be waiting by the door for us to return. Moana is a sweet soul. You never will hear her bark she is such a quiet dog.
Moana loves a great squeaky toy. They don’t last long because she will rip them apart until she gets to the little squeaker inside. She also loves peanut butter
Current Moana is in need of a mastectomy. She has two large masses on the underside of her belly which require removal. She has had them for about a year but because one is on her vascular system it is prone to constant bleeding. Currently we are working with our local animal hospital to get her surgery scheduled as the mass is beginning to smell and has grown in size.
I’ve applied for care credit but did not get approved for the full amount. Currently I am a full time graduate student with a part time job. Due to these limited financial means I have been seeking out further employment.
