About this campaign

Mocha was brought home on Halloween 8 years ago as a friend for our dog Bean who had terrible separation anxiety. She’s been with him ever since and gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies two separate times. One of her puppies Chai, stayed with our family and the three of them are a tight knit group in the household.

Mocha currently has 50 small bladder stones causing her to urinate blood frequently. Previous to this she’d never had any medical problems. The stones have her in constant pain, shaking, and giving her difficulty using the bathroom. I’ve been told she has a week to receive a surgery but if she stops urinating before then I have to bring her in immediately.

Mocha loves small soft squeak toys. She’s the most playful of her group, always ready to play. She’s energetic, and runs laps in the yard. She’s incredibly smart, and has a distinct personality. She likes belly rubs and to sit in your lap. She likes to dance with her paws in the air and on her hind legs. She’s more than a dog, she’s one of my best friends.

I am currently a college student working full time throughout the winter break. I have very little savings and make around 500 a week. My parents are covering Beans medical bills and can’t open another line of credit.
