Me and my mom adopted mocha when she was two from a family that could no longer care for her. She has been with us for over ten years now and she is our only dog. Her name was already Mocha when we got her so we decided to keep it since she was used to that name already plus it seemed to really suit her.

Mocha sleeps in the bed with me or my mom, she's another family member to us. She loves taking walks and we tend to walk around the neighborhood and say hi to all the neighbors. I noticed a mass on Mocha's mammary chain and took her to the vet right away out of concern. The vet told us that Mocha would need surgery to remove the mass and a biopsy to see if it's malignant.

I am a full time student that doesn't work that much because school takes all my time and my mom recently just lost her job a couple months ago and because it's just us in the household, we have no way to provide the amount of money that Mocha needs to have her surgery.
