Mocha is a 8-year-old Shih Tzu in Kearny , NJ, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Mocha is almost 9 year old. She has been with us since she was 8weeks old. We got her after our 1st shih tzu pass away from liver failure. She brought back joy to our home again. She is very sweet and loving. When we had our last child who is 5 now, mocha treated her like her baby. She protects her staying next to her and crying with her. She is a part of our family.

Mocha is another child for us. We struggle to conceive our last child in our blended family and got mocha. When she was younger she went everywhere with us. She acts like a mom to our two youngest daughter. If they are upset she is there trying to cheer them up. She plays with Lola like another child. Doing “tea parties” and dress up.

She loves cuddling. She hides under the covers during rain storms. She protects my kids when the bell rings. She became a mommy to a kitten who lost her mom. She “bath” her and cuddled her. Made sure she ate and was safe. She played with her and loves her. She is the sweetest, loving and greatest of family member

Mocha was attach by a large dog. The dog grabbed Mocha by the neck and shook her. By the time we had been able to get the dog off of her. She was shaking and had some blood. We though she only had some cuts. We feed her and found her bowl full of blood. That is when we knew she was worst off. We found out that her jaw was fractured. And needed surgery to wire her jaw closed to heal.

She is receiving treatment at Red bank vet hospital. We don’t have pet insurance. We have 2 kids in college and just paid this semester tuition along with supplies for our newly Kindergarten student. The expense is over $9k total when said and done. We have paid over $7k
