About this campaign
Mocha came into my life while I was going through a major depression. A friend of mine noticed that when I was with his dog I would light a room and so he gave me mocha. I immediately began registering her to be my service dog and she was great at it. I started going outside and I stopped isolating myself and wherever I went mocha went. She became my Bestfriend, my daughter, my support animal.
Mocha is famous in my neighborhood and amount my friends. Everyone knows I treat mocha as a daughter rather than a dog and she’s welcomed everywhere with welcome paws. She’s just so sweet and lovable to everyone she meets. “She’s a different dog with you her former owner says often. She’s happy and so are you. “ I smiled he’s right. I am different because of her. Our morning stretches, the best!
Mocha some how without any training helped me out of a major depression in which I might add that I had been feeling the world might be better off without me and mocha made me see that I was loved. And she asked for nothing in return. When I cry she jumps on my lap and kisses my face. When I’m mad she’ll bring her loudest you to distract me. When I’m happy she adds to that with her hugs.
Yesterday mocha was hit and dragged my a car. I rushed her to the hospital who was asking for so much money to treat her. And tried to force me into a high rate credit card to pay her bill. I just purchased a home and even used my last dollar towards the treatment but my $500 only bought her some pain meds and fluid and we were sent home.
It will mean the world to me if mocha could get the care she needs . Listening to her labored breathing is torture I can’t imagine going to our home and not seeing mocha in her room.
