About this campaign
Mochi was a rescue. She was found in the snow with her kittens. The kittens were immediately adopted, but Mochi was not. As soon as we saw her, we knew she was ours. She came from a shelter in Maryland, and has traveled across the United States with us. She has moved to Las Vegas, and now, Utah. She loves sitting on the balcony during the summer.
Mochi loves treats! We call it her candy. She will stand on her hind legs like a little person and meow. She comes when I whistle for a dog! She and I have a secret snack session every night at 3 am. We are her people, and she rules 5he house. She sleeps on my side every night. She makes us so happy.
Mochi will come running when I whistle for a dog. She runs on her hind legs and bats her toy mice in the air. She is such a great kitty. She sleeps on my side the entire night. She sits outside next to me on the balcony during the summer. She hates snow, though! My husband is a disabled vet and she gives him comfort when his PTSD is particularly bad.
Mochi needs her anal glands taken care of. We were able to pay for one visit recently when the right side burst. She now needs the left side drained and packed. She also needs her yearly shots and a checkup. We took her to Wasatch Hollow animal hospital, here in Ogden, Utah. The veterinarian is Dr Howard.
My husband and on VA disability and recently lost his job. I am waiting for Social Security, as I am disabled as well. Mochi provides love and comfort to both of us. My husband has PTSD, and Mochi is his unofficial therapy animal.
