Mochi is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Temecula, CA, who needs $1,500 for Pyometra.

During the summer of 2021, I visited Mexico for the first time. I fed the street dogs during my stay. Mochi was one of them. She stayed around the street my family lives by. She got familiar with us and began to follow me around everyday. I fell in love with her. 2 months later I went back to Mexico and still found her there. I knew I had to bring her back to California with me. & so I did :)

On 9/7 after an emergency visit, the vet while conducting an ultra sound found she has pyometra. They let us know it was urgent to get her to surgery and is the only way to save her. Mochi is high risk for the procedure but I want save her and keep her a little longer with us. She is being cared for at Parkway Per Clinic. Although we will have to continue after care monitoring at another vet care.

Mochi loves to be outdoors. We don’t have much backyard space for her but we make sure to take her on car rides and walks everyday. Specifically open grass fields where she runs for minutes at a time.

Mochi just arrived to our life’s 2years ago and would love to have her for longer. I look forward to taking her on adventures since she makes a great dog guardian. The last year has been tough for our family but coming home to her everyday reminds me of Love and joy.
