Mochie is a 13-year-old Chiweenie in West Bend, WI, who needs $2,000 for hip surgery.

I adopted Mochie 12 years ago. Her previous owner was in a wheelchair and never played with her or took her outside. It took her a bit to open up to us but I can't imagine our family without her. We got her as a companion to Magnum and she is definitely filling those shoes of a younger sibling driving him crazy most of the time.

Mochie has the fiercest personality in a little 6lbs body. She pretty much gets what she wants with those big brown puppy eyes. Her favorite way to pass the time is to cuddle up next to you and give you kisses non-stop and curling up under a blanket. Her teeth are not so good anymore but she used to love chewing on mini pressed rawhide bones.

Ever since my car accident my financial situation has not been great. I no longer have any credit to even apply for care credit. I just recently went back to work but only part time. And I was furloughed for a month due to COVID19.

I took her in today at Parkdale clinic thinking she may have sprained her rear right leg. Turns out she dislocated her hip and we were referred to Lakeshore for the procedure. Unfortunately they wont start the procedure until we have the funds available and we just dont have that much saved at this time living paycheck to paycheck.

If shes not eating or going to the bathroom she is buried under the covers. That is by far her most favorite place to be. If shes sitting by you and theres no blanket then inside your shirt will do! If you tell her to go get her brother she will go up and start play attacking him, still has the spirit of a young pup!
