Mogok Ruby is a 2-year-old American Bully in Simpsonville, SC, who needs $2,000 for knee surgery.

I was there when Mogok was born her mother Jules had 4 out of 6 puppies and needed a DNC or lose her life, I did pay for this procedure. Mogok was the last puppy still not old and due to circumstances she needed a good home. I purchased her and brought her home, she was 3 months; she has a fenced in yard and a doggy door for freedom.

We call Mogok [ Moe] for short. I have trained her but my boyfriend has she a special place in her heart. Moe likes to take walks and ride in the car. My grandchildren look forward to playing with her but she is mostly my best friend, my baby. I have spoiled her by having a bed in two rooms, I carry her bed and blanket when we are in other rooms so she can be comfortable everywhere.

She needs x-rays and treatment to find out she needs an operation. I have always been able to pay for Moe's needs. I don't have anyone to help me with my sweet girl, she is only 2 1/2 years old. I'm told if she doesn't get this operation, her right leg will need the same.

Moe was limping so I limited her activities and my friend assured me it was nothing, she did get better but she would favor her left leg some but not all the time. Recently I noticed something very different, Moe's leg seemed to dangle at the knee, I was frightened so I took her to Integrity Animal Health Dr. Hoeft . I was told she had to have an operation that I cannot afford.

I trained Moe, she stays by my side, I have PTSD as well as other medical issues. Moe knows when I'm having an issue and she will come to me and place her paw on my knee, she obeys well with one exception. Playing fetch, she doesn't want to give me back the stick. Early on I tried to get her to bring her toy she didn't so a few months later I said "get your toy" she did, rolling over, well, lol.
