Mojo is a 13 year old Pug in Northport , NY, who needs $2,000 for Cholecystectomy Splenectomy.

My first pug, Mushu, passed away shortly after his 10th birthday from cancer. He was my everything - he helped me through my own chemo treatments. I vowed to honor him. I held several fundraisers for animal cancer in his honor & rescued 3 pugs - all from different states. One being our precious Mojo. We have a 4 others in our grumble who continue to look for Mojo Everytime we walk in the door.

Mojo fell ill Thursday morning with vomiting & refusing to eat. He does have a history of diabetes We took him to a 24hr vet. There he was diagnosed with extremely high blood sugars & liver enzymes. We transferred him to VMCLI & he was diagnosed with Gallbladder mucocele, spleen masses & bladder stones. Saturday afternoon he went to surgery - he had his gallbladder & spleen removed.

Mojo loves snuggling with his Grinch stuffie, but he prefers snuggling with his human & fur siblings more. Of course, he is a typical pug & loves to eat. He also enjoys sun baths on the back deck & swimming/ cooling off in the pool. He is a happy fella enjoying his senior years, mostly relaxing . He is blind, but that doesn't slow him down - he loves to squeak his toys & rumble with his grumble

Mojo is a member of our family & we aren't giving up on him. In the past 48 hours we've been charged $29,000 to save his life. My husband & I applied for care credit, but we didn't come close to covering this cost. We could be charged even more depending on his post op care.
