Moku is a 6 year old Chihuahua in Bishopville, SC, who needs $1,000 for Pyometra Surgery.

She came into our lives as we found her, as a new pup, a guy whom looked to be homelss had sold her to me, I gave him $100 dollars for her, she was a gift for our Grandaughter. Got her in Hawaii. We have Moku left from her -. she's been our child since 2019. The closest animal I have ever been to. I cannot imagine losing her. Pyometra is deadly. She needs to be in surgery 27 Oct.

I just noticed a couple days ago that Moku was breathing heavy. I then noticed last night that she was bleeding, It was a light pink. She is listless and depressed. Very low energy. We took her to vet this afternoon at the Bishopville Animal Clinic. It cost $40 for office visit, $75 for the X-ray, and $30 for the Baytril medicine to get her ready for surgery. She was diagnosed with pyometra.

I have a back injury and just over a year ago july 2024 I received a second surgery. She sleeps with me and always lays against my injury, against my spine. She was always very playful with her kitty she was raised with, Tommy a tabby cat whom came from hawaii too. She used to fetch and loved to have a toy, even a sock would do that you could pull on. She was always such a wonderful puppy .

I am on SSI and can barely afford the bills I have, and to feed our pets. Everything is such a struggle, I wish I could save her. The vet said she will die if she doesn't get the surgery. She is to be operated on the 27th of Oct.
