Molly is a 6-year-old Terrier Mix in Apache Junction, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Cushing's Treatment/Confirmation of Diagnosis.

Molly was a surprise adoption! I went to adopt her brother Mikey from his foster home and heard this awful racket upstairs while I was meeting him. The foster parents then let me know that he had a sister and they've never been separated. So we had her come down to say goodbye and she ran straight to me and curled up in my lap with all the kisses in the world for me. And that was that!

Molly lives with her brother Mikey as well as two other dogs that have joined the pack, Sadie and Ghost. She loves chasing Ghost around the yard and snuggling with Mikey. Her and Sadie have competitions to see who can bark the loudest at the mailman. She follows my toddler around hoping he'll drop snacks and is the first one to lick his face when he falls!

Molly is the most loyal dog I've ever met. She can walk/run with me off the leash and stays right with me. She loves on everyone, dog, human or cat, she doesn't care. She's so outgoing but very submissive. She hates confrontation. Molly is my sweet girl and is always by my side. She's not extremely vocal but loves to play!

We first noticed something was wrong with Molly when she started gaining weight extremely fast. This followed by constant drinking of water, urinating too frequently, sluggishness and licking the air has led our veterinarian to believe she may have Cushing's. This is a hormone imbalance that causes our doggo to eat excessively to the point of harming herself if not treated. It can be treated though.

Just to confirm this diagnosis, Molly may need three rounds of blood work which can cost up to $1000 alone before even starting her treatment. The treatment itself we are willing to take on ourselves financially but getting to that point will be expensive and we need help!
