Molly is a 7 year old Poodle in Bryson City, NC, who needs $2,000 for Addison's Disease.

Molly came into our lives a few years ago because my best friend and partner at the time saw her picture from a breeder needing foster parents for her dogs. She had been abused by her original owner and their other dogs. Molly is the sweetest and most loving dog. She has been a member of our family and heart since 2019 and we've loved her every minute because of her gentleness and loyalty.

I drove her last night about 1 and 1/2 hours to MedVet in Asheville NC because when we got home there was blood and poop all over the house and Molly was lying on the floor in shock. We put her in my car and I turned on the emergency blinkers and petted and talked with her the whole way. I panicked several times when her head drooped and not afraid to admit as a 69 year old man I cried and prayed

Molly could easily become mean after being abused early in life but instead she became a lover and gentle soul. I have heard her bark maybe several times in the years we had the privilege of her company. She became my emotional partner after moving back to NC after a heart procedure in 2022. Her constant love, loyalty, and devotion have kept me functioning and giving me the courage to keep going.

I'm about to be 70 years old next week and still working part-time to supplement my Social Security because I have to support myself and keep Molly healthy and happy. I'm a proud person and never wanted to ask for help but Molly needs and deserves support and for her I will.
