Molly is a 13-year-old Lab mix in Creedmoor, NC, who needs $500 for the treatment of an infection related to cancer.

Molly has been a beloved family member to Rebecca T., her spouse, and their children for 13 years. They had her ever since she was six weeks old. So, when they got the heartbreaking news that Molly has cancer, they were devastated.

"She sleeps in the bed with me and my spouse," Rebecca tells Waggle. "Molly has been by our side everywhere we go. This is hard on the family. Molly is my heart."

Molly's immune system is deficient from fighting cancer, and she developed an infection. "My husband was bathing her and said, 'Rebecca, what is this?' We brought her to the veterinarian right away. They shaved the area down, and she's taking antibiotics," Rebecca says. Molly is being treated at Dabney Drive Animal Hospital.

Rebecca's family is struggling to pay Molly's medical bills. Unfortunately, Rebecca recently got hurt and has been out of work. Her spouse is suffering from complications due to COVID and other medical problems, so they are hoping other pet lovers will pay it forward, so to speak, and help them help Molly. "She means the world to me," Rebecca says. "I love her to death and would do anything and everything for her. Molly makes us laugh with her smile and how well she listens and gets along with others. She hasn’t met a person she doesn’t get along with."
