Molly is a 7 year old Golden Retriever in Monticello, MN, who needs $1,800 for Surgical Removal Closed Pyometra Diagnosis.

Molly was "gifted" to us from a family friend. They needed to rehome her and we welcomed Molly with open arms. What a blessing for sure. Sweet, kind, gentle, energetic puppy. She became fast friends with "Nugget" the rabbit and our new puppy, Rizzo.

About a week ago, Molly become very lethargic and wouldn't eat. We were concerned as she is always high energy and 'hoofs' down her food as if it's her last meal. After calling our primary vet clinic in Monticello, we tried surrounding areas, we ended up taking her to Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Maple Grove, MN. They diagnosed her with Pyometra, a uterine infection.

Molly has been around our family for 6 years. Very vibrant, energetic, kind, gentle, sweetheart. She always greets everyone with entire body wagging and "kisses". Molly always thinks she is a lap dog.....the whole 69 pounds of her. Warm and welcoming! She is a snuggler.

I started a permanent employment position in DC a couple months back (graduated college last year). My parents living in MN owned a cafe, however with Covid 19 and the aftermath with the State of MN, had to close in 2024. Thus causing financial hardship for them.
