About this campaign

Molly and her brother Domino were the only surviving kittens of my uncle's cat and took them in rather then let them go to a shelter.
16 years later and Domino was put down in August due to organ failure.
In adition to her brother and lifelong companion passing, the two of us have had to flee a domestic violence situation, stay in a shelter, and move all in the last six months.

A lazy lap cat, Molly enjoys laying next to me, laying on top of me, and trying to eat human food when she thinks no one is looking.
Her easy-going nature has been very helpful as of late, where we've been forced into many new places with new people, all of which she's taken in stride.

One of Molly's favorite things to do is groom people. Especially once they get out of the shower. She is not afraid of water in the slightest and will eagerly wait to groom and nuzzle against a freshly washed head of hair.

I took Molly to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital on monday night (10/16/2023), when she first showed signs of distress. She was crying, crouch-walking, and avoiding food.
While the kind people at BluePearl provided me with an anti-biotic in the short term, the cost for her to have a full diagnosis/follow up care (bloodwork, urine culture) had to be put on hold for lack of funds.

I am a disabled individual on a fixed income and Molly is my only Emotional Support Animal. She is as much help to me as any medication I am on. Seeing and hearing her suffer from something that can be easily cured if I only had more financial help is hard on both of us.
