Momo is a 15-year-old Cattle Dog mix in East Orland , ME, who needs $1,600 for hospitalization for diabetes stabilization.

Momo was used as a bait-dog sadly in New Mexico when I rescued him, and brought him home. He's been my son basically. A true member of our family. He has such a silly sense of humor, and has been a complete ANGEL in our lives. He rescued US. He's never had a sick day in his entire life of 15 years. Now, in his elder years, he still runs around and wiggles up to you like a puppy. You would never know he's an older dog! As of a few days ago wi he fell deep into Diabetes Ketoacidosis. I took him to the emergency tonight. The veterinarian told me Momo needs 3 days of hospitalization to recover! He can come back from this breakdown. But I do not have $2,000 to give him his hospital care, he so desperately needs to enjoy the rest of his life. I almost made the decision to let him go tonight...but how can I when he can recover? I owe it to our beloved Momo to allow him to live out his elders years with us. He's given us so much LOVE and DEVOTION all his life.
