About this campaign
I rescued Monica from a no kill shelter. I was not completely aware of her feline stomatitis at the time, but immediately fell in love with her. We currently are in a roommate situation. The roommate has another kitten, of which she has yet to take care of the kitten with a vet visit for vaccines or preventative care.
Monica is a to herself cat. She loves, but it takes her some time. It took many many months for her to warm up to me after I rescued her. Now we are best friends and she is my child. She loves to play with her toys, but mostly when no one is around or I’m just there. She’s a very special baby and means the world!
She is just an amazing cat. She chose me and I couldn’t be more grateful for her. If I were a cat, I would be her. :)
We click, understand one another, I can always tell when she is upset and her with me. Our bond is unbreakable.
It hurts to know that someone abandoned her the way they did, but I’m grateful they did, because she is now with a caring parent.
She has feline stomatitis. It’s a very painful disease. She has seen the vet several times and has recommended a full dental extraction at this point due to her suffering. She is in pain and on pain management, a cone to avoid her from scratching, and is hurtful for her to eat.
I am on a very fixed income. This is a complete unexpected expense. I was previously unemployed for approx a year until about 4 months ago. Idk what I would do without Monica, she is my support animal.
