I rescued monk from Forgotten Pets Rescue. He was found roaming the streets as a puppy. When I rescued him he was one years old. He has been in our family for nine years now he will almost be 10 in a few months. He In raised with both of my daughters and grandchildren. He is so loved and is our world.

Monk is extremely spoiled. He loves to snuggle with whoever will give him attention. He sleeps with me every night and has helped my insomnia. Sometimes he makes his rounds to each room in the house and gives his love of lots of snuggles. Whenever the grandchildren come overHe is so patient and sweet and lets them lee over him.

I am a single mother of two daughters. I am on a fixed income and have had to spend all of my savings toward his veterinary bill. I am struggling and I don’t know what to do. We are needing financial help to save Monkey.

Monk has been healthy all of his life. He’s had sensitivities to foods so I try to give him the best. Recently without warning he has become chronically ill. We had to take him to blue pearl emergency hospital in Renton Washington for treatment. We suspect it’s inflammatory bowel disease but still are unsure. We are awaiting test results

Whenever he hears the word walk he perks up and gives you the brightest smile. So we have to usually spell it out when we’re not ready to quite go on one yet. If you mention the word ball he goes crazy with excitement.Every morning once he finally gets up, he does his morning stretches that just make me giggle. It’s like clockwork.
