Monster is a 10-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat in Hanahan, SC, who needs $789 for Mass Removal Surgery.

We rescued Monster from a neighbor who couldn't keep him when he was just a kitten. He's been living with our family a few months shy of 10 years. He is an indoor cat that has access to the outdoors though he likes being inside the most. As a Norwegian Forest cat, he is a big boy with a big appetite!

Monster enjoys a full life with children to give him lots of love, other cat friends to be in charge of and a house with a garden to explore. Monster enjoys spending most of his time inside being pampered and lisetning for the sound of a can of cat food to open. My children simply love and spend a lot of time cuddling.

Monster's cutest quality is that he's like a dog. He follows me around from room to room and finds a cozy spot very near if not on top of me. He's waiting at the door to greet us when we come home from school and work. As a Norwegian Forest cat, he loves to be the boss of the house and help keep the two other cats in line.

Monster developed a lump under the skin on his belly. The doctor has recommended that we remove it and check to see whether it's cancer. Other than this development, Monster is a healthy and happy boy. We would be devastated if we lost him to cancer so we're eager to ahve the lump removed and sent off to the lab.

We just spent a fortune on our senior dog to have a cancerous lump removed from her neck. We were saving for Monster's surgery when our youngest cat, Linus, turned up missing part of his toe that now seems to have a bone sticking out. We've spent Monster's money on Linus.
