Moo Moo is an eight-year-old Shih Tzu in Louisville, KY, who needs $1,140 for urgent care.

Joanne S. has battled a lot of obstacles: homelessness, severe health problems that left her disabled, and financial difficulties. But she got through it all with her emotional support dog, Moo Moo, by her side.

"He is my baby and best friend," Joanne tells Waggle. "We need each other. He loves to sleep in the crook of my legs. He is a major support for me. We have a very strong bond."

Moo Moo has never had a health problem until recently. He started having trouble urinating. Joanne rushed him to Blue Cross Animal Hospital, where the veterinarian discovered Moo Moo has bladder stones and needs immediate surgery to remove them.

The news broke Joanne's heart, and now she's worried sick; she doesn't have the money to pay for the operation Moo Moo needs. The pair needs help!

"I'm on disability, and I have very limited income," Joanne says."I don't have any more money. I don't know what I would do without Moo Moo. I need my pupper because he helps give me a reason to go on."
