About this campaign
We got Moomoo 10 years ago the day after my senior prom. Her shelter name was Ama and I thought naming her Xya was cool and interesting and I hadn’t heard that name before for a cat. Because we think she had kittens, she always had this huge hanging belly underneath her to the point where it would touch the ground when she sat, making me in turn changer her name to MooMoo, like a cow’s udders.
This is my best friend. I swear I gave birth to her myself. My child, my solace, my best friend, my hilarious little house panther. She literally brings joy to me and everyone she interacts with.
She’s just a strange girl. She carries around a stuffed unicorn in her mouth and screams whenever I leave. She’ll do it and bust through my bedroom door with it in her mouth and as soon as I acknowledge her she drops it and is back to normal.
Mid 2023 we noticed she was going potty outside of the box and it was very uncharacteristic of her so we knew something was wrong. We took her to our vet in Davenport FL and he found more than 4 kidney stones that have no treatment besides surgery, and it is getting to the point where there is now blood in her urine. Im terrified that this will be the end due to an infection that could arise.
I cant tell you how many times I have applied and gotten denied care credit. All of my other lines of credit are maxed. I have tried working with our vets office but they are not willing to take payments, I have looked towards other vets, ASPA’s and non profits. No one helps
