Moose is a 13-year-old Dachshund in Enumclaw, WY, who needs $1,900 for Canine Extractions.

Moose was rescued from an abusive situation on 12/24/2014, brought him to his forever home. He lives in a fenced in, 3 bedroom non smoking home. Gets half hour walks when he tolerates them due to his pancreatitis. Has a toy box of chew toys and sleeps with myself or my daughter. Gets fed twice a day. Due to his teeth we had to switch his food from hard to wet food.

Mooses favorite person is my daughter Hailey, follows her every where she goes. He hates to be alone so if we go anywhere Moose goes with us. Moose has his own bed but will sleep with either myself or Hailey, prefers to be under the covers behind your knees. He's potty trained and is great at letting you know when he has to go outside, when he comes in he wants his treat for going potty.

I love to see him smile when he's sleeping. He's very good when it comes to meals and will stay in his kennel until you tell him to come. He loves to play with toys that have a squeaky noise in them, and will do what he must to destroy it. He is always happy to see you when you come home. Moose always knows when I'm hurting and lays right on my pain. He helps me more than he knows.

Moose was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis, and the vet said that he needed to have four to eight teeth removed. His veterinarian would like to give his teeth a deep cleaning put him under anesthesia and pull those four to eight teeth. They have already done all the blood work that is necessary for the procedure.

I am a single mom of 2 girls, one of them is on the autism spectrum with special needs, I have been unemployed since September of 2022 and I feel so horrible that my boy moose is in pain and can't provide the proper vet care for him, He's cries in pain. It breaks my heart.
