About this campaign

Moose greets every day blissfully unaware that he’s any different. He needs his bladder expressed to urinate, he unknowingly soils himself, and his wobbly walk, as adorable as it is, leaves him vulnerable to injury. His special needs require extraordinary dedication, constant cleaning, and endless patience from his foster family. That is why finding him an adoptive home has been nearly impossible.

But here, at A Pathway to Hope, we are committed — and so is Moose’s foster family. As for our Moose, he simply lives, loves, and plays through it all.

Now our sweet, special-needs boy urgently needs another surgery. Due to complications from spina bifida, Moose must have his tail amputated. The way he moves causes constant pressure, repeated injuries, and ongoing infections that can no longer safely heal. Tail amputation is now the only way to keep him safe and comfortable.

Please give today to help fund Moose’s surgery. It is life-saving care he urgently needs to stay healthy, safe, and pain-free. Moose has endured so much, yet he never stops fighting for hope.
Let’s fight for him.
