Moose came to our family from a neighbour who did not have much time for him and kept him as a mostly inside dog for his initial 4 years. He has to learn some things like swimming, digging holes and catching frogs but appeared to be a good helper in the kitchen warning me when water leaks from the cooking pots.... and complaining and shivering when lamb is cooked.

This February, Moose, who always was very healthy, start having unexplained illnesses, paw infection that did't respond to antibiotics and later appreaed to have multiple drugresistance..and later his left eye start bleeding from inside and died within a week making him almost blind. The veterinarians suggest a serious underlying condition that needs multiple tests. Vet bills now exceed $3000

Funny, but Mooie loves dogs with white and yellow curly fur and is cautious about dogs with black fur. He also finds that Australian shepherds are the most beautiful of all pups that he meets.
