Morticia is a 2-year-old Maine Coon Mix Cat in Irving, TX, who needs $750 for Dental Cleaning with Extraction.

We adopted Morticia back in February from a local shelter along with another cat, who we renamed Gomez. They live in our two bedroom apartment. We don't know too much else about her.

Morticia loves our laundry and clothes. Leave a load of laundry out and she is on top of it, though we can't get her to fold anything yet. She loves to be near us. If we're lounging on the couch, Morticia wants to be in the middle. There is no using the bathroom alone anymore! And she has this habit of picking exposed skin instead of clothed to make biscuits on :)

It's hard to say as we're still getting to know her. Morticia has the funniest squeaks instead of meows sometimes. And she loves to let us know she's just used the bathroom by sticking her rear in our faces afterwards :) She's chosen our kitchen mat as one of her favorite places to plop down, which is right where I do dishes of course.

Morticia has problems eating. We noticed it shortly after we adopted her. When she eats, after a few moments she will start absolutely howling and run off from her food bowl. We've taken her to Low Cost Pet Vet and made arrangements for her surgery in January, if not sooner.

Between my roommate and I, our rent and bills, we do not have the means for $800 dollars of vet bills. Our pet insurance won't cover it because they claim it was pre-existing (which it was). We adopted these cats to give them a better life and are failing.
