Moses is a 5 year old Maltese in hendersonville, TN, who needs $2,000 for CT Scan and Portosystemic Shunt Surgery.

Moses presented to Montgomery County Animal Control as a stray. Shortly after being taken in he began having neurological symptoms. Middle Tennessee Veterinary Center took over his care - he is currently living with/being fostered by the doctor and another staff member.

Moses was diagnosed with a suspected portosystemic shunt and was scheduled for an internal medicine consult at a local specialty hospital. Unfortunately, Moses' condition rapidly deteriorated and he was admitted through the ER where he has remained for stabilization over the weekend. He will get a CT Scan to assess him for surgery to correct the shunt on 7/21/25.

Moses is the sweetest boy and has stolen our hearts in the short time he has been in our care. He adores children and loves to be carried around in a sling or a bag.

As Moses does not technically have a forever home yet he has become the financial responsibility of the fosters (the doctor at Middle TN vet) and other staff members. We want to be able to save him as he is still fairly young and has lots of life and love left to give!
