About this campaign

Moses, who was discovered abandoned in a car in 2014, proved too much for one boy to take care of and was passed to his sister, who didn't want him either. Since 2016, this cat has been my companion. He gets along so well with our other cats and just enjoys having a safe and happy home after being tossed around so often in the earlier part of his life.

Moses is so entirely friendly, unassuming, talkative, and full of love. He's the kindest most behaved gentle cat ever. He loves seeing my roommate or his mom, and greets everyone, and talks to us. He loves being outside with the family and loves to cuddle in the winter and to be pet in the warmer months. I really can't get over how well behaved and wonderful he is.

Currently without steady income because of Coronavirus, and this extra unexpected emergency expense is too much. I do not want to give this precious boy up, or worse.... I really don't have any extra funds to put toward his care at this time.

I was quoted by Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty for a life-saving surgery after Moses suddenly loss use of both his back legs. He's been otherwise health, until one day he injured his leg and ran underneath the sub flooring in the basement. When we finally coaxed him out long enough to get a better look at him last night, he can no longer use either of his back legs.

Moses will enter a room and begin to leave, but if you call his name, his bolts around and jogs toward you to receive love. He's so mild. And wonderful. He's never scratched anyone, and loves to groom us when he's feeling extra relaxed. He came from very bad conditions living in a car with a woman, and then being abandoned. I don't want to see his life end like this.
