About this campaign
When my son was little all he wanted was a puppy do bad. The only problem, he had allergies. I saved up and got him a tiny American Hairless Terrier. Oh how adorable and little he was. I still remember the first time he was able to get his cute little self up the stairs. My son decided to name him Moses, keeping the biblical theme going. My sons name is Noah.
Moses developed a tennis ball size lump near his groin a few months ago. He's already had the fine needle aspirate that determined that its cancer & the chest x-ray to confirm it hasn't spread yet, so a good candidate for surgery. Those bills wiped me out. He now needs bloodwork ($450) & the surgery ($1550-$2000) done at the VCA in Plymouth, MA.
Moses slowly became my dog. More so when I became disabled & house bound mostly. Now its just the two of us in my new little apartment. Without him I'd be lost. He gives me hugs when he wakes up & randomly throughout the day. At bedtime, he gets a stuffy to cuddle with us. But you would think he was a puppy if you saw him, always down to play. Loves running and jumping, especially tug of war. ❤️
Like I mentioned I have recently become disabled. My spine is 19 rods & 22 screws. I need a walker to go anywhere & I can no longer drive. I'm stuck in the house. Moses keeps me company, fills the silence, gives me someone to take care of daily & get love from endlessly. ❤️
