Movado is a 9-year-old Cane Corso in Dallas, GA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

I rescued Movado from an abusive and neglectful home when he was 7 months old. where he was 40lbs underweight and confined to a kennel in a dark garage 24/7, living in his own urine and feces. He had sores all over his body from being covered in urine, and masses on his body from being on a hard surface 24/7. He has been spoiled and adored since the day he came home with me in October 2014.

Movado is a mommy's boy through and through! He adores me, and couldn't live without me, though he loves his adopted canine sister, too. He spends his days by my side, wherever I go, he follows. He's not friendly toward strangers (given his past) but he is SUCH a love bug with me. He's a silly, goofy boy who gives THE best kisses and always wants to "give paw".

Movado is a total goof, despite his size and appearance, he is always doing something silly to make me laugh, whether it's talking back (he is a very vocal boy and loves to talk back), giving me a dozen kisses against my will, or finding a way to get more water on the floor, wall, and window than in his mouth when he drinks!!

Movado has a tear in his ACL/CCL (hind left leg) that requires surgery to treat. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8th at 9:00am. He has battled hepatitis since he was about 3 years old, been treated for a shoulder injury (from the prior abuse he suffered),, and had a TPLO surgery on his right leg 2 years ago.

Movado's "sister" has required over $11,000 in veterinary care since November 2022, which I have slowly been recovering from, when he tore his ACL. As soon as we scheduled surgery, I lost my job. I'm now without an income and a $6,000 surgery looming just days away!
