Mr. Grumpy Pants got his name when one day my sister and I went outside and looked in our flower bed to be greeted by grumpiest little month old kitten I've ever seen. By our delight, we were able to warm up to him after some time and able to hold him. I've been feeding and caring for him as an outdoor kitty ever since.

Suddenly, one day, I walked outside to feed Mr. Grumpy Pants to find his eye was bleeding. I had rushed him to the vet at this time. This was when I was informed he had an ruptured eyeball. He received some antibiotics and pain reliever and he was scheduled for eye removal surgery on July 23rd at All About Animals Flint.

Mr. Grumpy Pants does not live up to his name. He is the sweetest little boy you will ever meet. Whenever you go to pet him, he will drop and roll to his back to get some belly rubs. Now that I have brought him inside due to his eye, whenever I leave the room, he will chase me wherever I go and will meow if he loses me. His favorite toy is the blanket strings hanging off the couch.

I am a caregiver to several other cats as is while I am also still paying off my student loans and trying to move out out on my own, this surgery can easily take up my entire paycheck.
