Mr. Magoo didn't deserve this abuse

Mr. Magoo came to RBARI after a lifetime of neglect. At 12 years old, his eyes were matted and crusted shut, leaving him blind; his mouth was filled with decaying teeth, he was unneutered, and he had clearly gone far too long without medical care and the simplest comfort.

Yet, this tiny senior Yorkie’s gentle spirit still shines bright despite daily suffering. As soon as Mr. Magoo hears your voice, he wags his tail and tries to find you. 💔Years of neglect left Mr. Magoo’s eyes sealed shut and painfully inflamed. After carefully soaking and shaving away the hardened buildup, he was able to open his eyes again.

Sadly, RBARI discovered irreversible scarring from long-untreated dry eye and infections. To end his pain, the difficult decision was made to remove his eyes.
