Mr Manwich is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Medina, OH, who needs $2,000 for Heartworm Treatment.

We got him on our 1st trip in 15 yrs in TN at a rescue/ fostered to adopt due to him already being HEARTWORM POSITIVE than returned toTN for his 3rd set of shots. Fell in love with how sweet, calm quiet & gentle he is Plus so cute & special looking. We named him Manwich (he's RED & we like name unique names) He's a quiet dude but smart. He expresses his needs without making a peep.

Manwich was heartworm positive when we got him. We went back to TN for 3rd set of shots last July. Asked what happens if the treatment fails? Told center would still be responsible since adoption

NOW Manwich has tested positive 2x (with mature worms) & the center has NOW REFUSED to help as promised. We do not have the funds to pay for meds

Manwich is the kindest and most gentle dog I've ever met..He loves everyone he meets and quickly leans into you for attention..He loves walks car rides and playing with toys..fetch or tug of war..We have quickly fallen head over heels with our little love bug and couldn't imagine our lives without him..We just recently got him certified as an emotional support animal..

Its hard to ask for help (we use to donate) Worked hard than wife got to ill now on disability after 24 sugeries in 5yrs. i facing breathing issues so I cant work like I used to. We were already financially ruined b4 heartworm fiasco Just want him to live healthy happy life
