Ms Thang(Missy) is a 2-year-old American Shorthair Cat in Chicago, IL, who needs $2,000 for CT Scan, Larvae Removal, Antibiotics, Hospitalization.

Ms Thang came into my life about 8 month ago. She was a friendly feral I rescued off the streets. She was so tiny, I thought she was a kitten until vet records showed she was actually closer to 3 years old! She has since become apart of my family including her 16year old tabby friend she shares home and playtime with.

She came in dominating the home, earning her current name “Ms Thang”. Missy is loved by all and is happy to have found her forever home. She came into my life shortly after 1 of my senior cats passed away from cancer and has been a ball of joy. She enjoys riding in her stroller for her daily walks outside. Since missy is ill , she has not been able to enjoy any of her normal daily habits.

Missy loves to get the zoomies between 1am-5am, she loves melted ice scream and Purina Chow and fascinated by moving brooms and mops. She enjoys trying to get her senior friend to join along in the fun and they spend most of the day laying next to each other or playing hide and go seek. She also loves to sit in the window and watch the world pass by.

Missy is currently being treated by a veterinary emergency hospital. She got off her leash June 20th and was hiding in bushes for 3 weeks before I was able to trap her. As a result, she came in contact with botfly larva and now has the maggots inside of her nose causing illness, high fever, nasal bleed as they continue to release toxins into her. However lack of funds is hindering further treatment

This was an sudden expense that has come at a horrible financial time for me as I am dealing with other undisclosed emergencies simultaneously. Missy is so young and survived being lost for 3 weeks only to have this happen. Let’s save Missy so she can continue to thrive!
