Mufasa is a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Sebastian, FL, who needs $900 for Spinal Cord Surgery.

My best friend Mufasa has been with me since he was 6 weeks old and he is now 10 years old. He's actually more than my best friend, he is my everything and he recently got out one night and came home with an injury on his foot and tail which became worse over time, two nights ago he couldn't hardly walk and he couldn't lay down and the vet says he has a possible spinal cord injury & it's expensive

My vet at aloha vet hospital gave him pain meds, but without xrays or an mri he thinks it's a spinal cord injury. He is in so much pain even the injection only helped until we try to move him. He falls over trying to pee can't squat to poop and cries and whimpers in pain. I don't qualify for any financing options since I'm recently homeless, We are temporarily staying at my boss house & need help.

He is the best dog I've ever had, he is so friendly and usually so happy, his tail always wagging and gets these big cheesy grins that melts everyone's heart. He has one ear that flops forward so cute, made me fall in love with immediately. He has separation anxiety if I am gone too long and is so happy to see me when I get back. I don't know what I'm gonna do without him & I got to get him help

The last 2 years have been the worse of my life, my mother died, my sister died, my father committed suicide, both my kids moved away with my grand daughter, I lost my home I was set to inherit after 20 years and lost my job due to so many family issues. I have to help him.
