Muffin is a 6 month old German Shepherd Dog in Dixon, CA, who needs $1,500 for Emergency Care.

We found Muffin at our local shelter when my wife and I decided we were going to go look at the animals and offer our assistance one day when I was in a really bad mental state. We came across these puppies they had just received that needed a loving home and the second we laid our eyes on Muffin we knew our hearts had been stolen. We adopted her and took her home February 4th 2024.

I don’t know what happened to her… she came stumbling into my room from the living room and just collapsed. Her breathing is labored and crackled, she was panting, drooling, seemed off, and even seized for a minute. She’s vomiting foam and clear liquid, whining, and won’t eat or drink. I know this is potentially an emergency but I have nothing to help her right now…

Muffin is my soulmate in pet form. She is truly one in a billion. She’s so lovey, sweet, caring, and always there to make you feel better. She’s also SO funny and fun to be around, I couldn’t have asked for a better dog. She’s always so playful and active and brings our 4 small children SO much joy. She loves to give kisses and cuddle!

I unexpectedly lost my job and funds have been really tight with being on unemployment. My wife was in the hospital up until 2 weeks ago for almost 2 months and the medical bills are becoming unbearable for that alone. We lost our car, almost lost our home, and more.
