About this campaign
We found muffin 2 years ago when she was about 4 weeks old. In the past two years she has become one of my best friends, and I even took her to college with me. Muffin is the sweetest, most patient cat and loves everybody.
Earlier this month I noticed a large bump under muffins neck. On the way home from college for the summer, I stopped by Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs where they diagnosed her with a very rare condition called Salivary Mucocele. The vet of 30 years said that muffin was the 3rd case that she has ever seen. This condition effects muffins salivary gland, making it difficult to eat/breathe.
Muffin has always had her own little quirks, and one of them is being talkative. Everytime somebody walks in the room Muffin starts meowing and rubbing against your legs. She loves to watch bugs and animals through the window, and her favorite toy is a laser pointer. Muffin loves to come sit on people’s chest while they’re laying down and show her affection.
I am currently a full time college student in Statesboro, GA. Due to the population of the small town i go to college in, it’s very hard to get a job. I work when i’m home from college, but have other life expenses I have to pay for.
