About this campaign
Muffin is my beloved cat and my emotional support since I lost his brother, Sexy Black, just two weeks ago. I adopted them both about 1 year and half ago. They were a bond pair. In order for me to adopt on of them I had to adopt both of them. It was the best decision I've ever made adopting them both.
Lately, Muffin has become very vocal and seems to be in pain. His belly is swollen and firm, and he cries out when I touch him. He’s still using the litter box, but he's constantly licking himself, and I can hear gurgling in his stomach. I’m afraid he may have a blockage or something serious.
He loves to make biscuits on my chest at night before bed, and he follows me from room to room like a shadow. Since we lost his brother, Sexy Black, just two weeks ago, Muffin and I have leaned on each other for comfort. He’s been more attached than ever sleeping next to me, watching me when I rest. Seeing him in pain right now is breaking my heart, and I just want to help him feel safe and loved.
I was just recently diagnosed with MS. Adjusting to this new reality, grieving the sudden loss of Muffin’s brother, and now seeing Muffin in pain, it feels like everything is happening all at once. I’m doing my best to stay strong, but I don’t have the funds.
